The Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX), on September 9, 2026, notified its members that a mock trading session will be conducted on Saturday, September 12, 2026. Separate Product IDs and Product Names for Call and Put Options will be available during the mock session for testing, pursuant to the Exchange’s earlier circular dated May 5, 2026.
The mock trading schedule comprises a Special Session from 11:55 AM to 11:59 AM, followed by the mock trading session from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Members using third-party trading platforms, empanelled vendor systems or in-house systems through the ETI API may use the session to test their applications from their Disaster Recovery site. CTCL members are also requested to participate using the MCX Enhanced Trading Interface (ETI) API version 1.4.2.
Members are advised to actively participate using all trading software and ensure an adequate mechanism is in place to restore their trading systems to the production state after the mock session. Existing leased-line connectivity and live SSL VPN IDs may be used for connectivity as specified by MCX, with detailed connectivity and default-password information provided in the annexures. Mock trades will not create any pay-in or pay-out obligations.
